Misty Bailey, MA, ELS(D), is the Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Since 2016, she has provided consultation to faculty on instructional techniques and oversees the college’s assessment program. For 10 years prior, Misty edited scientific documents, including grant proposals, journal manuscripts, book chapters, etc., in both biomedical and veterinary fields. She is also a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Misty’s teaching experience includes teaching writing and literature to college freshmen and sophomores, as well as teaching English as a second language on site at two Chinese universities. Additional professional interests include student evaluations of teaching, active learning methods, and survey research.
